Shelly Sood is a founding partner at GIOSTAR Chicago in Glenview, Illinois. She received her BA in political science from the University of Rochester in New York and her MS in information systems from DePaul University in Chicago.
Ms. Sood has 15 years of experience in leadership roles across multiples fields, including marketing, operations, and entrepreneurship. She has served as a crucial point of reference for clients working in the manufacturing, technology, law, pharmaceutical, and education industries.
It’s her dedication to long-term success, as well as her conscientious eye for a results-driven approach to business, that has allowed Ms. Sood to thrive in all her projects.
Ms. Sood’s recent career transition to healthcare provided for greater alignment between her compassionate nature and her academic and professional background. She had an epiphany after several life-altering personal experiences, culminating in the realization of her personal mission in life to achieve happiness by helping others combat the most devastating, debilitating illnesses. Ms. Sood soon discovered that the fulfillment gained from diminishing the pain of others is like nothing else.
In January 2017, Ms. Sood helped launch the regenerative cell therapy center in Chandigarh, India, and has since played an integral role in developing the center’s internal planning, strategy, and management.
Ms. Sood’s current role at GIOSTAR Chicago is to facilitate strategic business partnerships and key initiatives to ensure successful patient care, guide and train the current staff to align with the company’s vision and goals, and oversee the center’s operational and strategic processes, thereby taking the center to the next level.
From a global perspective, Ms. Sood is spearheading the global skincare initiative with GIOSTAR’s CEO and team of scientists to bring this technology to the forefront of the beauty industry worldwide.
