General Questions

Does Your Regenerative Cell Therapy Have Any Side Effects?

Regenerative cell therapy has no known side effects. However, as with any medical procedure, there are risks involved. To reduce side effects and risk, the regenerative experts at GIOSTAR Chicago use autologous regenerative cells – cells that come from your own body – during the procedure.

Is the Stem Cell Therapy Administered By GIOSTAR Chicago Safe?

The regenerative cell therapy administered at GIOSTAR Chicago is safe. The standards for testing are higher than those recommended by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), the international leader in standards and accreditation for transfusion and cellular therapies in the United States.

At a minimum, the regenerative cells used for therapies are tested for viral, bacterial, and fungal infections, as well as counted for live cells and viability quality. GIOSTAR Chicago uses the strictest standards for regenerative therapy in the world.

How Quickly Can You See Results After the Regenerative Cell Therapy?

You may notice a change in your health within seven days following your first regenerative cell therapy procedure. However, it takes up to 12 months after your third transplant for you to see the full benefits of the therapy.

Many of our patients have experienced considerable improvement following their procedures – including many former professional athletes; click here to hear their stories.

How Much Does the Therapy Cost?

The experts at GIOSTAR Chicago don’t want you to make your health care decisions based on finances. This is why we offer numerous payment plans to help manage the costs of therapy. To determine if you’re a candidate for regenerative therapy, the team asks that you complete the Medical History Form here, after which cost and financing options can be discussed.

I Am Interested in Learning More and Seeing if I Qualify For This Therapy. What Are My Next Steps?

Your inquiry will be routed to an educated, well-informed advocate to speak with you about the field of stem cell science. If you are seeking therapy, it is a 3 step process to determine if you are a candidate for GIOSTAR Chicago:

  1. Complimentary consultation to answer all your questions and discuss your needs.
  2. Completion of a health history form that’s reviewed by a GIOSTAR Chicago specialist.
  3. If you’re approved as a candidate for regenerative cell therapy, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your treatment date.

The team at GIOSTAR Chicago will answer all questions respectfully and confidentially, in a timely manner.

Can I Benefit From Regenerative Cell Therapy Even Though I Am a Senior Citizen?

According to studies, there is no correlation between the success of regenerative cell therapy and age. As with any field of medicine, results will vary based on several factors, including (but not limited to) medical history, records, the progression of the disease, and health issues.

Not everyone who walks into GIOSTAR Chicago is a good candidate for regenerative cell therapy. To help determine if regenerative cell therapy can aid in your journey to heal, the medical and research team at GIOSTAR asks you to complete the medical review form online. This does not guarantee acceptance to one of our locations throughout the world but will provide the data that our medical and research team requires to determine as to whether or not you will benefit from therapy. Upon completion of the medical review form, our patient outreach team will get back to you within 48-72 hours to discuss your candidacy.

The information obtained during this initial meeting is also used to develop your personalized treatment plan. Most patients who undergo regenerative cell treatment receive three transplants over a 7 day period, with close monitoring throughout the treatment, including before and after.

It’s important to remember that everyone’s experience with regenerative cell therapy is different, and while some patients may notice an improvement in their health or symptoms after the first treatment, we still recommend more than one treatment. It can take up to 12 months for your body to realize the effects of regenerative cell therapy.

Are Regenerative Cells Safe?

When Stem Cells are extracted, isolated and re-administered properly under the care of an educated and well-practiced organization they can be generally regarded as safe. GIOSTAR guides many of the governments across the planet and has written the governing stem cell policy for many nations.

Be VERY careful when choosing a provider. Make sure that they have the highest standards in their lab and medical facility.

Will My Body Reject Stem Cells? Is There an Immune Rejection Issue or Concern? What About Graft Host Disease?

GIOSTAR has not observed any side effects using their stem cell technology.

Our professional lab biologists are held to the strictest standards isolate the mesenchymal stem cell from the original tissue. This is a nonstructural stem cell that is multi-potent and “immune privileged”. This means that you can give the cells to any patient the need to match a donor or use immunosuppressive drugs. Therefore they will not cause adverse reactions in the patient, such as graft-versus-host disease. Because of this special property, there is no risk of rejection or adverse reaction.

Be sure to inspect any provider you speak with as to the specific methodology they use to ensure they have properly isolated the MSC (mesenchymal stem cell) because there are many types of stem cells which can make the body susceptible to serious diseases, infection, cancer and other issues such as regrowing the wrong tissue in the wrong place.

Are There Any Moral or Religious Concerns?

Adult stem cells are used for treatment and do not fall under any moral or religious concerns.

Are There Clinical Studies Registered Through NIH?

Dr. Anand Srivastava and many of both the Medical Advisory Board and Scientific Advisory Board of GIOSTAR have been and are currently involved in or associated with the research in many clinical trials throughout the world.
