Dr. Jay Rosenberg

Jay Rosenberg, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon and general surgeon, with more than 25 years of experience in the latest surgical techniques. Prior to coming to GIOSTAR, he served as physician at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Hospital Elgin for several years. He has also provided consultative services as a practitioner with Signify Health. 

 

Dr. Rosenberg is widely recognized for his excellence in providing clinical care. “Our patients always have questions about stem cell therapy,” he explains. “Beyond just performing the operation, I take time to address their concerns and provide a calm environment that helps them feel comfortable and at ease.” One colleague notes that “Dr. Rosenberg’s approach is a breath of fresh air in an era when efficiency is prioritized over personalized patient care.” 

 

Dr. Rosenberg has trained at pre-eminent medical institutions in the United States. These include Rush-Presbyterian, Chicago Medical School, and University of Illinois. He has board certifications from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and is a fellow with the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, he is a lifetime member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, which recognizes medical professionals for “lasting commitment to professionalism, leadership, scholarship, research, and community service.

 

In his spare time, Dr. Rosenberg enjoys traveling around the globe and playing golf.
